Recruiting Manager

Brillient Corporation Lee's Summit, MO (Onsite) Full-Time

General Summary: This role, under the supervision of the Director of Talent Acquisition, will manage the full lifecycle talent acquisition function within the Human Resources (HR) department for high volume and full life cycle recruitment in a large government contract.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  2. Provides support and guidance to recruiters and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
  3. Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  4. Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for assigned employees.
  5. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management.
  6. Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the Talent Acquisition process.
  7. Manages application/resume file, candidate activity and retention according to company policy.
  8. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  9. Other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirement: Minimum five (5) years' experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred in a high-volume full life cycle environment. Government contracting highly preferred.

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  6. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  7. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  8. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  9. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  10. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  11. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: Work performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and customers.

Mental/Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity for office machine operation; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Must be able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time. Stress can be triggered by multiple demands and deadlines.
