Quality Assurance Specialist/Management Specialist

Brillient Corporation Annapolis Junction, MD (Onsite) Full-Time

General Summary: This is a hybrid schedule position, must be flexible to come into the office.This role is a client-facing position focused on providing quality assurance, analytic, and program management support for internal stakeholders. This position serves as a resource for managers on matters pertaining to program planning and evaluation for improvements in the quality control program, staff training, and other initiatives that support activities related to program delivery and organizational effectiveness.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Assist the government with maintaining, updating program/project management plans and associated documents.
  2. Prepare, submit, implement, manage, maintain, and update a detailed Quality Control Plan (QCP) that documents the methodology, standards, and acceptance criteria to verify that delivered products/services for all work under the Statement of Work SOW and individual orders satisfy contractual agreements, meet client quality standards, and comply with project-specific processes and requirements.
  3. Develop and periodically update program documentation such as training resources, standard operating procedures, and other reference materials.
  4. Perform quality assurance reviews on contractual and ad-hoc deliverables or documents.
  5. Implement all phases of quality assurance and improvement by utilizing surveys, workflow studies, reports, and trend analysis.
  6. Collect, analyze, and evaluate quality and performance measurements to identify negative trends and potential process improvements opportunities.
  7. Maintain and continuously update the master training plan with current company and customer training requirements and certifications.
  8. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements
  9. Assist with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful CMMI and ISO assessments/appraisals.
  10. Identify efficiencies and enhancements to standardize existing training methods.
  11. Upload and maintain all documentation in SharePoint.
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Education Requirement: Bachelors’ Degree

Experience Requirement: Minimum five (5) years’ experience performing related duties. Technical expertise necessary to assist in the evaluation, measurement, and support of processes relating to quality assurance/control and applicable metrics.

Other Requirement(s): This position requires U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card holder and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government public trust level security clearance. For a candidate that is a Green Card holder, they must have lived in the United States for at least three out of the past five years prior to your application date. You will also meet the residency qualifications if you lived abroad while on government or military duty or if you were a dependent of a federal employee of military member.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment: Work performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and customers.

Mental/Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity for office machine operation; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Must be able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time. Stress can be triggered by multiple demands and deadlines.
