Program Analyst

Brillient Corporation Springfield, VA (Onsite) Full-Time

General Summary: This is a hybrid schedule position, must be flexible to come into the office. Under direction, the Program Analyst performs a variety of support services to include project coordination, evaluations and analyses necessary to support assessing the effectiveness of the program. 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Reviewing documents, conducting assessments and system audits.
  2. Analyzing records to determine if they contain certain information, such as sensitive or confidential in nature.
  3. Gathering reports in response to requests.
  4. Help establish and improve policies/procedures.
  5. Data collection and reporting.
  6. May assist in the creation of or update training materials.
  7. Helping to create more efficient workflow and making recommendations.
  8. Other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent 

Experience Requirement: Minimum two (2) years of related experience. Qualifying experience for the Administrative Assistant I includes at least two (2) years of specialized experience which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position as outlined above.  For this position, “specialized experience” consists of support, under close guidance by government lead, in the following areas:

  • Researching and analyzing issues for their impact on program operations;
  • Conducting data collection and queries, and performing qualitative/quantitative data analysis of performance measurements - including indicators and outcomes – to determine program effectiveness;
  • Identifying changes to policies, standards and processes that improve program operations; 
  • Preparing reports that capture the status of program effectiveness; and
  • Assisting with performance monitoring of tasks, schedules and budgets.

    Other Requirement(s): This position requires U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card holder and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government public trust level security clearance. For a candidate that is a Green Card holder, they must have lived in the United States for at least three out of the past five years prior to your application date. You will also meet the residency qualifications if you lived abroad while on government or military duty or if you were a dependent of a federal employee of military member.

    Performance Requirements:

    1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    2. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    5. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
    6. Ability to review, analyze and verify data for consistency with program objectives.
    7. Ability to work independently.
    8. Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships with all staff and visitors.

    Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

    Work Environment: Work performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and customers.

    Mental/Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity for office machine operation; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Must be able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time. Stress can be triggered by multiple demands and deadlines.
